A patent applied for device for keeping your club grips out of the wet grass and/or mud.
THE GRIPSAVER
This product is a simple but brilliantly effective way of protecting your club grips when laying them on the ground, thus saving a lot of expense having the grips replaced at regular intervals. It will also eliminate the slip caused by a wet grip so could improve your handicap.
A potentially improved handicap for less expenditure, what could be better?
Another advantage of owning and using a GRIPSAVER is that the club is elevated above the ground so is easier to see on the way back to the bag and so does not get left behind. Chippers and wedges are not cheap.
Costs very little, could save quite a lot, possibly improve your handicap. WOW!
You don't even have to bend to use it, just slip the GRIPSAVER onto the club to be protected and put its head to the ground then drop the club. The GRIPSAVER will stop the grip coming to grief in the wet grass and/or mud on the fairway or on the green, it can't possibly damage the green (green friendly) and it can't be accidentally knocked over (because it is circular).
When you need to retrieve the club just hook the other one (or a foot) under it and lift, then change clubs and put the ball in the hole.
As already mentioned the GRIPSAVER costs less than the cost of just one re-grip so is definitely cost effective.
The GRIPSAVER is made from quality plastic and if not abused* should last long enough to be left in your 'will',
*The GRIPSAVER should survive being run over by the family car.
The GRIPSAVER is just under 5" diameter and is about an 1/8" thick except in the middle where it reaches almost 1/2" so if your pockets are quite large you can carry it around for days and not notice it's there. On the other hand (or trouser leg) if your clothes are tight fitting or if you wear a skirt you may want to take advantage of the hole provided near the GRIPSAVERs edge and hang your GRIPSAVER on the bag or the trolley or even your belt. I have played with mine hanging from a belt loop and not noticed it there.
